My baby's quilt

this is the middle of my quilt. It started out as a regular block quilt but then I liked the center scene from on of the prints and started thinking about "framing" it so I ended scrapping the "block" idea and now I just have to redo the blocks I already had done so it looks good and matches. the only problem I am now facing is the backing. I was originally going to use a nice soft material but I ended up using it for some of the pieces on the front, now I have to go search for a nice soft teal fabric backing.

I FINALLY finished it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3/24/10 by the way the borders are supposed to be crooked. This is my first finished quilt!

Happy St Patricks Day

I made all these dresses. My first time making dresses. I got the pattern for the dresses from Walmart and I got the pattern for the baby's outfit from Bettsy Kingston. I will post a picture of the ruffle pants later they are so cute! I just can't wait to finish the quilt I am making for my baby it is coming along pretty well I think for a first timer anyway.

Isabellas Birthday

I made this banner by just printing out coloring pages and then just colored them with crayons and I used plain clasps from Walmart to connect them

I made small coloring books and used favor bags from Walmart to hold the crayons they only cost $1 then I bought some stickers, some lip gloss bracelets and some tiny plush monkeys(super cute!)

I made the backpacks as favors from felt

Amelia's Birthday was a HIT!

Despite getting everything together the WEEK BEFORE her birthday, everything turned out AWESOME! We had some friends over and the kids loved everything. My only problem was the theme was Pink Poodle and we had a boy who wasn't quite impressed with all the GIRLY stuff! I did get bubbles, but that turned out to be not such a great idea! It went everywhere-note to self bubbles belong OUTSIDE! For favors we had pink poodle beanies, pastel crayons, stickers, a pad of paper(also with a poodle on it), a small cham bracelet and the notorious bubbles. I couldn't find a huge mylar poodle balloon so I bought a blow up plastic pink poodle -very cute. I will try to get the pics on here later. Also I couldn't find a pink poodle candle so I went with the cake topper set(it's in one of the pics below) where I got the plates and napkins.

Now all I have to do is start planning Isabella's Birthday!

THE WHOLE FAM DAMILY!
